The Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and the National Development and Reform Commission issued a notice in recent days requiring all localities to strictly control the energy consumption of landscape lighting such as public utilities and large buildings, strictly control the scale of landscape lighting construction, and resolutely eliminate inefficient lighting products.

       The two departments require that all regions should strictly prohibit the construction of landscape lighting projects with excessive brightness and energy consumption. It is forbidden to use powerful searchlights, high-power floodlights, large-area neon lights and other high-brightness and high-energy lamps in landscape lighting.
